The apartments (45-80 square meters) are located in heart of the historical center of Karlovy Vary. Two steps from the Elisabeth's Bath, Colonnades and pedestrian zone. There is a fully equipped kitchen. This house is for the faint hearted as there are 20 steps up to the apartment and no elevator, but the climb is definitely worth the effort and going down is easy. This is a zone which is closed to car traffic and so is very tranquil and, as we are in the center, one can easily walk to all the famous museums and monuments of Karlovy Vary, to an infinite number of shops, restaurants and bars as well as theater, discos and cinemas.

Karlovy Vary is a well known and well documented city. We will leave plenty of maps and suggestions for everything from restaurants to leisure time activities. We will gladly leave our bicycles and car for our home exchangers' use.
Private cars are not allowed in the city center but there are plenty of buses and taxis available.
We do not mind smoking and pets.
Our balconies are small but you can sit outside and enjoy a cosy breakfast for two or a moonlit glass of wine.
There is no air-conditioning but we have found that we are so high up that in the Summer there is always a breeze. In winter there are radiators in each room which can be centrally regulated. There is also a working fireplace for a more romantic warmth.(only apartment 1)

Jiri was born in Kraslice and is a Dipl. Ing. and Jana was born in Karlovy Vary and she is a private dental surgeon. They are madly in love with each other and with their beautiful and ancient house which reflects their passion for art and history. We have a vast collection of 800 CD's which expresses our taste in modern and classic music.
Jiri and Jana have an eighteen years old daughter, Marketa, and a twenty years old daughter, Katerina, both live with us. Both are students (Catherine will be dental surgeon, Margaret does not know yet :-) . Jiri speaks english, german, czech and russian. Jana speaks italian, english, french, german, spannish, czech and russian.
